Cameron has always been the bearer of information and stories. She loves putting the heart back into communications.

Previously, she was the VP of Sales and Marketing for a North American sustainable seaweed company. Responsible for brand management, she brought the company's products to market, generated its first sales, and garnered national media attention.

In 2014, Cameron was a Fellow with the Robert Bosch Foundation and spent a year in Berlin researching German female entrepreneurship. She wrote and presented on the need for a celebration of German female entrepreneurs as role models in a paper titled Will the German Oprah Please Stand Up?

Prior to that, Cameron was the Chief Operating Officer for a policy think tank in Washington, DC, which she helped grow from a coffee shop-hopping start up, to a $5 million intellectual force in the nation's capital. She managed the voice, position, and strategy for the organization, led fundraising and board management, and was responsible for managing and growing the team.

Cameron is the founder of, a strategic marketing and communications shop that supports mission-driven and women-owned businesses around the world. Clients include sustainable businesses, ocean-based non-profits, artists and innovative design companies, and leadership and management consultants. She also makes really great playlists.

She lives in Portland, Oregon with her family.
