Julie is a project manager/writer/actor/editor based in Los Angeles and Atlanta. She got her degree in music and theater from Virginia Tech with a concentration in English. She is one of the writer/creators of the comedy series Shapetown. She's completed her first novel and is halfway through her second. She's been published in The Daily Muse and Forbes, to name a few.
When she is not writing, managing a project, or updating a website, Julie spends her time hiking, doing yoga, practicing American Sign Language, and reading as much as she can. Julie also enjoys working in Language Localization as an English Subtitle Editor for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities with Deluxe Digital Studios.
Julie is also a founding member of the successful Portland theater company, Sojourn Theatre. She spent a year on tour with the National Theatre of the Performing Arts in New York City and was lucky enough to do a show at Lookingglass Theater in Chicago. These days, you can find her hiking canyon trails with her dogs, reading voraciously, making her own dog food or writing up a storm.
