With a fear of boredom Lisa likes to work in a variety of capacities. Hopping back and forth between New York and Norway she is an ASL interpreter, artist and project manager.
As an RID Certified ASL Interpreter for the Deaf she works mostly in medical and university settings. She has been project coordinator for FuturePerfect Productions, a New York-based interdisciplinary production company since 2009 and as of this year she also serves as project manager for the Norwegian based theater company winter guests.
As a performer she has performed in places such as REDCAT, New Museum, PS 1, Hammer Museum, Brooklyn Museum and others. Her work has been featured in Art Forum, LA Times, Huffington Post and published in What Can a Body Do? at Haverford College’s Cantor Fitzgerald Gallery.
She holds a MFA from Brooklyn College in Performance and Interactive Media Arts and a BFA in theater from Cornish College of the Arts.
