We updated the storefront design to align with the new brand

For nearly a decade, the Brooklyn Kolache Company served Czech-meets-Texas pastries from their location on Dekalb Avenue in the Bed-Stuy.

But in 2021, backed by a group of investors, founder Autumn Stanford made plans to expand to Manhattan. She turned to us for a brand refresh to mark the next phase of growth. We shortened the name, inspired by positive reviews and social posts by loyal customers and motivated by the available URL.

A new logo hinted at the correct pronunciation and an updated color palette suggested a whimsical yet modern vibe. Illustrations of top-selling ingredients extended the brand across packaging and digital and offered irresistable merchandising opportunities.

The new bakery's opening in the West Village caught the attention of the New York Times.
